Sugar beet pulp is a by-product of sugar production, consisting of desugared beet chips. It is a valuable feed ingredient for cattle due to its high content of pectin substances (up to 25%), cellulose, and hemicellulose, which are well digested in the rumen of ruminants. GOST granulated sugar beet pulp is the main form of supply, convenient for storage and transportation. Moisture 10–12%, protein 7–9%, fiber 18–22%. Pellet diameter 8–12 mm. Dry beet chips are the non-granulated form, used for direct introduction into feed rations on farms. Application: feeding dairy and beef cattle, horses. Pulp increases milk yield and milk fat content, improves digestion. Packaging: big bags, in bulk. Shipment from 60 tons by rail and road.
